Found: These birds can be found across SouthEast Asia, in countries from India to Indonesia. Here, they will live in dense scrub, forested areas or gardens.
Description: The male’s upper parts are bright blue, with a red throat and breast, and the rest of the underparts are white. The female is a duller blue with a brighter blue brow, shoulder, rump, and tail.
Diet: This flycatcher will feed upon insects caught from both the air and ground.
Comments: This species tend to nest in a hole in a tree, or amongst rocks that is lined with fine grass and fibres, where the bird will lay 3–5 eggs.
