Pycnonotus finlaysoni

Size: 19 – 20 cm long

Weight: 24-32g

Description: Mossy green feathers on the body with grey feathers over the chest. These birds are also sometimes called ‘streak-throated bulbuls’, due to their plumage being interspersed with flashes of yellow on their throats, wings and tails.

Found: Stripe-throated Bulbuls can be found in Southeast Asia, it inhabits the tropical forests of Thailand.

Diet: Consists mainly of berries and small fruits – but has been know to sip nectar and go for small insects.

Comments: Also called streak-throated bulbul, this is a species of songbird in the bulbul family of passerine birds.
