Found: These birds can be found living in the dense forests or groves of SouthEast Asia.

Description: This species has black plumage with deep blue and purple highlights.Their tail is particularly distinctive, being long and forked with the ends curving outwards. Adults have blood-red eyes whilst the young birds have brown eyes.

Diet: They feed mainly on insects as wasps, bees and beetles.

Comments: The Hair-crested Drongo will disguise itself in the shrubbery, then swoop down to catch unsuspecting prey below.
