Found: Primarily over open land, such as fields, forest edges, and marshes.

Will spend their summers in places like Russia and China, moving to Thailand’s warmer climate in the winter months.

Description: Although usually found in Northern Asia, these birds will migrate down to South-East Asia during the winter months.

Diet: During the breeding season the male buzzards spend up to 90% of their day perched and searching for prey, feeding on prey such as frogs, crustaceans, lizards, insects, small rodents and occasionally other birds.
