Found: This species can be found in the tropical countries of Asia, often in natural rainforests. They can also be found nearer to humans, in gardens and settlements.
Description: The Crimson Sunbird is a very small bird, identifiable by a long and curved bill. They can also be distinguished by their general olive colouring, with a bright red breast and head in the males, and a more subtle red throat in the females.
Diet: They will feed mainly on insects and nectar.
Comments: The Crimson Sunbird is the unofficial national bird of Singapore.
