Description: The Collared Scops-Owl is a small bird, with grey or brown upper-parts and underparts with light coloring and fine darker streaking. It also has small tufts on the head, with the appearance of pointed ears.
Found: This species can be found in various places throughout the South of Asia. They are spread more sparsely through Thailand and are mainly spotted along the West and South of the country.
Diet: This species feeds mainly on insects.
Comments: The Collared Scops-owl tend to breed in the forests and other wooded areas, finding a hole in a tree to nest in where they will lay between 3 and 5 eggs.
