Found:This species is found in Bangladesh, Brunei, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand.

Description: Bright and colorful male is difficult to miss: bright grayish blue with yellow or orange underparts (depending on subspecies) and a small orange splotch on the back. Female is comparatively dull, but her yellow-suffused underparts and rump are still quite distinctive.

Diet: The diet of the Orange-bellied Flowerpecker is largely fruits (small figs, berries, especially Melastoma and also mistletoe fruits) and, sometimes, small insects.

Comment: Around 36 species of flowerpecker occur in Southeast Asia, and the group extends westward into South Asia and southward into Australia. There are numerous endemic species in the Philippine Islands.
